Delta Airlines Plans a major expansion at New York JFK airport

Delta Passengers get ready for a new, state-of-the-art terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

As part of Deltas' continuing efforts to better serve you when flying to and from New York City, they are building a new, state-of-the-art terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport.

New York City is one of the most important business markets in the world, and JFK is one of Deltas principal hubs, where they currently offer non-stop service to 98 total destinations and more than 1,400 weekly departures.

So it makes perfect sense for Delta, in partnership with the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, to develop a new, modern facility that will warmly and efficiently welcome travelers. This major expansion project, scheduled to begin this year and be completed by 2013, will provide substantial benefits to you, including:

  • Improved inter-terminal connections
  • More convenient check-in facilities
  • Newly built Delta Sky Club™
  • Improved customs and immigration facilities
  • More efficient security checkpoints
  • Fewer delays due to more efficient aircraft taxiways

Delta is committed to being your carrier of choice in New York and delivering a superior travel experience for you.
